The Center for Diplomacy and International Cooperation at the Misgav Institute advances Israel’s international standing and partnerships, counters anti-Israel delegitimization and BDS, exposes bias and distortions in international organizations, and shapes the future of Israel’s traditional and public diplomacy.
The Center is led by Israel’s former ambassador to the US and the UN, Gilad Erdan.
Prior to his time as ambassador, Erdan served for 12 years in Israeli government in numerous ministerial roles, including as Strategic Affairs and Public Diplomacy Minister, Public Security Minister, Communications Minister, Home Front Defense Minister, Environmental Protection Minister, Interior Minister and Regional Cooperation Minister. During that time, he also served for seven years as a member of Israel’s security cabinet.
